If
you are infected it can take up to 14 days to show. But the virus can spread
during the incubation period that means you can spread the virus even before
you know you are sick. This is why medical experts around the world are
worried. In the near future Coronavirus may potentially leave the nation
vulnerable to a considerably larger number of confirmed victims.
It has spread to 25 more
countries across the world. The official death toll
rate has surpassed 565 on Thursday. There is no sign of a slowdown, and thousands
more are being infected every single day which is resultantly fuelling fears
among people that spread of the virus is not being adequately controlled. But according
to some unofficial information death count is much higher than what China
is reporting. It’s no surprise that the World Health Organization has declared it a pandemic.
Fear of catching this virus especially among Chinese
people and around the world have already turned into tsunamis as crematoriums
workers are receiving nearly 20 dead bodies a day.
Coronavirus (CoV) has a lower fatality rate at 2.1%
but spreads extremely fast through human to human.
Researchers and scientists are comparing SARS and
Coronavirus. SARS was approximately four times more deadly and harmful than coronavirus. It
is believed that both viruses came from animals. SARS have come from civet
cats, whereas the start of deadly coronavirus was found in snakes and bats.
The Chinese health department
issued details of the deaths, more than 80% were over 60 years old, and they
had pre-existing health conditions like diabetes or cardiovascular diseases. While
healthy individuals are more likely to recover from this infection.
Currently, Hospitals in China
are swamped with patients and there is an acute shortage of beds. Gymnasiums
and sports centres have been turned into temporary medical centres to cope with
demand. The Chinese government is also claiming that the number of virus victims who
are recovering is also increasing.
