Los Angeles: Children's favourite cartoon 'Tom and Jerry' and Popeye the Sailorman's director, Gene Deitch, died at the age of 95.

According to the details, an Oscar-winning animator, illustrator, filmmaker and children's favourite cartoons Tom and Jerry, Popeye de Sailorman's director, Gene Deitch, left the world suddenly at the age of 95. 

His masterpiece cartoon characters Tom and Jerry and Popeye the Sailorman are equally popular among children and adults around the world. 



Remember that Gene Deitch film Munro won an oscar for the Best Animated Short Film in 1961. In 1964 two of his films were nominated for an Oscar Award. Also, the Oscar-winning animator Gene Deitch was awarded the Winsor McCay Award in 2004.  

Tom and Jerry are still very popular all over the world despite their violent humour. They are shown on children's TV everywhere from Japan to Pakistan, and now a new mobile phone game made on Tom and Jerry has over 100 million users in China.

It’s official : Air New Zealand has come up with a just wow idea of serving tea or coffee cups both in the flight and on the ground to minimize wastage. The edible vanilla flavoured cups are tailor-made and are resistant to melting. A ir New Zealand signed with Twiice, an Auckland company (specialises in making edible cups) whose coffee cups are being used throughout the country.
