Corona virus: Japan announces aid of $ 2160,000 to Pakistan

According to a statement issued by the Japanese Embassy in the federal capital (Islamabad Pakistan), Pakistan will receive $ 2.16 million in aid from Japan.

According to the embassy, ​​Aid to Pakistan will be provided through the (IOM) International organization for the migration of the UN (United Nations)  which aims to take steps to tackle the virus.

The Japanese Embassy expressed the hope that the money would enhance Pakistan's capabilities and further measures would be taken. Besides, equipment and other equipment will also be provided.

The number of corona victims in Pakistan has reached 1865, with a constant upward trajectory. Government of Pakistan is taking actions to contain the spread of disease by appealing to the public to remain inside as people in many areas were roaming out due to lockdown. 

The Japanese ambassador said that Pakistan's efforts and actions against Corona are commendable; Japan always stands with Pakistan, Japan also cooperated with polio-endemic countries like Pakistan, India, Nepal and many other countries.
